Achievate is a platform designed to bridge investors like VCs, angels, and family offices with a pipeline of validated, investment-ready startups. Leveraging the three decades of leadership experience of it's Founder at JP Morgan, State Street, SHCIL in the capital markets and investment banking domains, Achievate focuses on empowering startups and delivering measurable returns for investors.

We are looking for a passionate and proactive intern to join our team and support key activities, including scouting for founders, engaging with investors, and reviewing startups and market research.

Exceptional candidates will be considered for a PPO on successful completion of their internship.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Founder Scouting:

• Identify and reach out to potential startup founders through platforms like LinkedIn, startup communities, incubators, and accelerators.
• Evaluate startups across various sectors to identify promising ventures aligned with Achievate's model.
• Conduct initial discussions with founders to understand their business models, traction, and funding needs.

2. Investor Engagement:

• Research and identify potential investors, including VCs, angel investors, and family offices.
• Assist in building investor databases and maintaining relationships.

3. Pitch Deck Analysis:

• Review and provide insights on startup pitch decks.
• Assess key areas such as business models, market potential, financials, and scalability.

4. Market Research:

• Conduct sector-specific research to identify trends and opportunities.
• Support decision-making by providing insights on competitive landscapes.

5. Support Initial Screening:

• Assist in preparing reports and summaries of startups for internal evaluations.
• Provide feedback to founders during initial interactions.

Qualifications

• Current student or recent graduate in Business, Finance, Management, Economics, or related fields.
• Prior experience of working in VCs, Investment Banking firms, angel networks.
• Strong interest in startups, entrepreneurship, and venture capital.
• Excellent research and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in creating presentations and reports.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for founder and investor engagement.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.

This is an unpaid internship. Only candidates with relevant experience may be considered for a stipend.
