Investment Analyst

Greystar Real Estate Partners (“Greystar”) is seeking a highly motivated Analyst-level professional in its Credit business who can contribute meaningfully to the underwriting of a credit portfolio collateralized by multifamily assets. Greystar is a global investment manager with $78B of AUM and a managed apartment portfolio of ~1MM units/beds.

The ideal candidate will have 0-3 years of diverse capital markets or real estate-related experience. This ambitious and intellectually flexible professional will have broad responsibilities that, in general, can be characterized and evaluated by the ability to ultimately accomplish the following:

• Conduct early-stage research and analysis on individual assets and sub-markets;
• Review and offer opinions, either verbally or in written form, that benefit from collaboration with other Greystar professionals and industry research;
• Assist with the development of tools and processes to conduct portfolio surveillance and reporting to external counterparties; and,

• Superior communication skills, both verbal and written;

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, preferably in a discipline related to finance or real estate.
