Inventory Planning & Liquidation Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Inventory Planning & Liquidation Manager who can manage overall inventory health, optimize stock levels, and handle liquidation planning for slow-moving or excess inventory. The role requires strong analytical and planning skills to balance availability, cost, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage inventory levels as per sales and business forecasts.
• Track and analyze inventory performance — sell-through, ageing, and stock turns.
• Create and execute liquidation and markdown plans for non-moving stock.
• Collaborate with merchandising, finance, and supply chain teams for demand planning.
• Optimize inventory allocation across stores, regions, or channels.
• Prepare regular reports on inventory health and performance metrics.
• Identify opportunities to reduce excess stock and improve working capital.

Requirements

• Graduate or Postgraduate in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in inventory planning, demand forecasting, or merchandise planning.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and inventory management systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• Experience in liquidation, markdown, or clearance management.
• Good analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
