About Dr. Paws: Dr. Paws is a chain of new-age veterinary clinics, headquartered in Bangalore. The aim of Dr. Paws is to create a friendly, homely, and comfortable experience for pet visits by designing clinics with calming and welcoming interiors. The clinics offer hospitable and caring services for pets and their parents, providing everything a pet parent may need under one roof, including vet consults, grooming, pet retail, diagnostics, imaging, surgeries, and more. Location: Dr. Paws RMV Clinic, Sanjay Nagar. Position Overview: Dr. Paws is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inventory Manager with experience in managing 500+ SKUs within large retail chains. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing stock levels, and ensuring smooth inventory processes. This dynamic role requires strong organizational and problem-solving skills to drive operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee end-to-end inventory management for the company, ensuring accurate tracking of 500+ SKUs across all locations. - Monitor and maintain optimum stock levels, minimizing overstocking and stockouts. - Collaborate with sales, purchasing, and logistics teams to forecast demand accurately and align inventory levels with demand. - Ensure timely replenishment of stock across all outlets to avoid operational disruptions. - Perform regular physical inventory audits and reconciliation, ensuring accuracy between physical stock and system records. - Prepare and analyze detailed reports on stock levels, sales trends, and inventory turnover, offering insights for process improvements. - Work closely with warehouse, sales, and procurement teams to ensure smooth inventory operations. - Ensure efficient stock movement and storage practices, optimizing space and reducing damage. - Liaise with suppliers and vendors to track deliveries, resolve issues, and ensure timely and accurate inventory receipt. Requirements: - 2-3 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in large retail chains. - Strong knowledge of inventory management software, MS Excel, and ERP systems. - High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing large volumes of inventory. - Ability to identify and resolve issues in the inventory system through effective problem-solving. - Strong communication skills for coordination with various departments and external partners. - Excellent organizational skills to manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
