Inventory Executive

Role & responsibilities

1. Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate stock levels of retail products, consumables, color stocks, tools, and equipment.
  
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly physical stock counts.
  
• Monitor usage patterns to identify shortages, wastages, or discrepancies.
  
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of inventory.
  

2. Procurement & Vendor Coordination

• Raise purchase requests based on stock requirements.
  
• Coordinate with suppliers for timely deliveries.
  
• Track purchase orders, invoices, and delivery timelines.
  
• Maintain vendor records, pricing details, and product catalogues.
  

3. Stock Recording & Documentation

• Update inventory movement in the POS system (e.g., Zenoti, Slick, or other salon software).
  
• Maintain accurate records of inward and outward stock.
  
• Prepare monthly inventory reports for management.
  
• Record stock damage, returns, and product expiries.
  

4. Salon Floor Coordination

• Provide required stocks to stylists, therapists, and front desk on time.
  
• Track product consumption during services (color tubes, creams, disposables, etc.).
  
• Monitor stock usage per service to avoid pilferage or wastage.
  

5. Audit & Compliance

• Support internal and external stock audits.
  
• Ensure adherence to inventory SOPs across all departments.
  
• Flag any stock mismatch, pilferage, or unusual usage patterns.
  

6. Expiry & Damage Control

• Track product expiry dates and ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) process.
  
• Manage damaged or faulty products and coordinate replacements with suppliers.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Minimum 13 years of experience in inventory or store management (preferably in salon, retail, or hospitality industry).
  
• Graduate or diploma in any discipline (Commerce preferred).
  
• Experience with Zenoti or similar salon management software is an added advantage.
