Job Description

Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include

  • Assist in designing IoT/ embedded firmware for SOS-enabled disaster recovery wearable devices
  • Work on BLE, LoRaWAN, GPS, and RF modules for multichannel emergency communication
  • Develop and test SOS trigger logic for reliable signal transmission during disasters
  • Support PCB bring-up, hardware debugging, and sensor integration activities
  • Write and test device drivers for communication modules and peripherals.
  • Optimise power consumption for long battery life in emergency scenarios
  • Perform unit testing and field-testing of SOS communication reliability
  • Assist in basic ML algorithms for movement, fall, or distress detection
  • Debug firmware issues using logs, JTAG, UART, and logic analysers
  • Document system design, test cases, and daily development progress
