Job Description

An International Education Counsellor is a dedicated professional responsible for providing comprehensive educational and career guidance to students across diverse age groups and backgrounds. The counsellor plays a key role in helping students make informed decisions about their academic and professional journeys, both locally and globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalised educational and career counselling to students for international academic pathways, including professional, vocational, and certification programs.
  • Guide students in selecting appropriate courses, universities, and countries based on their aspirations, academic profiles, and financial background.
  • Offer detailed advice on admission processes, documentation, visa formalities, and cultural readiness for studying abroad.
  • Support students in developing essential skills and social knowledge required for successful adaptation and growth in an international environment.
  • Conduct one-on-one and group counselling sessions through in-person meetings, chats, and calls.
  • Maintain regular follow-ups with prospective and enrolled students to ensure a smooth admission process.
  • Update and manage student information and interactions in the CRM or counselling software.
  • Generate and submit accurate weekly and monthly reports on counselling activities, conversion rates, and admission status.
  • Collaborate with academic institutions, training centres, and partner universities to stay updated on admission criteria, scholarships, and program offerings.
  • Participate in educational fairs, seminars, and webinars to promote international education opportunities.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Education, Counselling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of international education systems, admission processes, and visa requirements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with students and their families.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with good data management and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in using counselling software, MS Office, and CRM tools.
  • Flexible to work with students from diverse cultural backgrounds and time zones.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
