Job Description

You have an excellent career opportunity with India's leading speciality chemical manufacturing company as an International Sales Manager - South East Asia based in Mumbai. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the market expansion in the Southeast Asia region by developing new business, managing distributor relationships, and driving growth through strategic alliances. You will also represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and seminars to enhance brand visibility and market positioning. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute sales strategies to expand the company's presence across Southeast Asia. - Identify, evaluate, and secure new business opportunities in the region. - Build and nurture long-term relationships with existing distributors and ensure alignment with company objectives. - Appoint and onboard new distributors/partners to strengthen market presence. - Conduct regular business reviews with distributors to track performance, resolve challenges, and achieve sales targets. - Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and seminars to enhance brand awareness and market reach. - Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to provide insights for business planning. - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of regional business plans. - Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to management. Key Requirements: - Bachelors/Masters degree in Business, International Trade, or related field. - 7+ years of experience in international sales/business development, preferably in speciality chemical manufacturing. - Proven track record of managing distributor networks in Southeast Asia. - Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to thrive in a multicultural, fast-paced, and competitive business environment. - Willingness to travel extensively within the region. - Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
