International Sales Manager

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• - Develop and implement strategic export plans to expand business in international markets.
  
• - Manage and lead the export team, ensuring smooth order processing, documentation, and timely dispatch.
  
• - International Travel exposure
  
• - Identify and build strong relationships with international buyers, distributors, and agents.
  
• - Negotiate and finalize contracts with international clients to ensure favorable terms.
  
• - Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, export documentation, and customs policies.
  
• - Coordinate with production, logistics, and finance departments for order fulfillment and shipment planning.
  
• - Monitor sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities in key export regions.
  
• - Participate in international trade shows, exhibitions, and buyer-seller meets.
  
• - Maintain accurate export records and generate regular sales and performance reports for management.
  
• - Handle customer queries, resolve complaints, and ensure high customer satisfaction.

Preferred candidate profile

• - Graduate / Postgraduate in International Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  
• - Minimum 10 years of experience in export operations and international sales in the Bags, Leather, or Apparel industry.
  
• - In-depth understanding of global trade practices, export-import documentation, Incoterms, LC handling, and shipping regulations.
  
• - Proven track record of successfully developing international markets and increasing export volumes.
  
• - Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  
• - Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems, and export management software.
  
• - Willingness to travel internationally when required
