Job Description

Conduct internal audits of departments such as Finance, Procurement, Stores, Production, and Sales.
Evaluate the effectiveness of internal control systems and suggest improvements.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations including GST, Income Tax, Companies Act, etc.
Verify and reconcile financial records and operational reports.
Prepare audit reports with findings and recommendations.
Monitor inventory movements, procurement processes, and usage of consumables.
Conduct surprise audits at various locations (factory, warehouses, etc.).
Assist in implementation and monitoring of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Coordinate with external auditors and provide required data.
Identify areas of cost control and suggest cost-saving measures.
Follow up on implementation of audit recommendations.
Ensure accuracy in production reporting, recovery, yield analysis, and other operational KPIs.
