As a Sitecore developer in this permanent position based in PAN India, you will be expected to have 4 to 6 years of experience in working with Sitecore. It would be advantageous to be a certified Sitecore developer with a robust understanding and hands-on experience across multiple versions, including upgrades. Your proficiency should include development with Sitecore version 8 and above, encompassing a deep understanding of available modules such as Glass Mapper, and being ideally a Sitecore MVP. Your responsibilities will involve creating complex Sitecore components and pipelines, as well as being familiar with Sitecore content sync frameworks like Unicorn and TDS. You should possess knowledge of unit test methodologies and an understanding of development design principles such as DRY and SOLID. Additionally, familiarity with development processes like TDD and BDD would be beneficial. Your role will also include implementing transactional or content-based websites, integrating APIs from backend systems and identity providers, and understanding dependency injection and other programming methodologies. Experience with Sitecore modules and delivery on MS Azure would be valuable assets in this position.
