Internal Auditor

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Internal Auditor with mandatory experience in Government audits to join a leading Chartered Accountant Firm based in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should be familiar with audit procedures, proficient in Tally software, and capable of reading and writing in Marathi.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct internal audits in accordance with standard auditing practices, particularly those relevant to Government audit processes.
• Review financial records, systems, and controls to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.
• Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting issues and recommendations.
• Liaise with different departments and external stakeholders as needed during the audit process.
• Use Tally for analysis and review of accounting data.
• Document audit findings in Marathi and English, as per requirement.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.

Requirements:

· Mandatory experience in Government audit for at least 6-7 months.

· Working knowledge of Tally ERP software.

· Ability to read and write in Marathi is essential.

· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

· Good communication and report-writing skills.

Preferred Attributes:

• Ability to work independently and handle multiple assignments.
• Familiarity with relevant government financial regulations and compliance norms.
• Experience in internal controls and risk assessment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
