Job Description

Position:

Role Overview

ledger verification, inventory audits, process audits, and risk control

Key Responsibilities

Conduct
internal audits
of financial records, ledgers, and transactions.
Perform
stock & inventory audits
at plants and warehouses.
Review
process compliance
across procurement, production, sales, and stores.
Verify
GST, TDS, statutory compliance
, and supporting documentation.
Identify
control gaps, risks, and process inefficiencies
.
Prepare
audit reports
with findings, observations, and corrective actions.
Follow up on
audit observations and implementation status
.
Coordinate with finance, stores, and operations teams for audit execution.
Support management in strengthening
internal controls and SOPs
.

Required Qualifications & Skills

CA (Inter / Qualified) / CMA / MBA (Finance) / B.Com with audit experience
.
36 years’ experience
in internal audit, preferably in
manufacturing or steel industry
.
Strong understanding of
inventory controls, cost accounting, and ledger scrutiny
.
Knowledge of
GST laws, internal controls, and audit standards
.
Proficiency in
Tally / ERP systems / Excel
.
Willingness to
travel to plant locations
.

Preferred

Prior experience auditing
multi-location plants
.
Exposure to
process audits and SOP implementation
.
Manufacturing or infrastructure sector background.
