Job Summary

  • The role involves executing

    end-to-end internal audits across business, operations, credit, finance, and compliance functions

    . The Internal Auditor will evaluate internal controls, identify risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and recommend process improvements in line with RBI guidelines and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute end-to-end internal audits across business, operations, credit, finance, and compliance functions
  • Perform process walkthroughs, identify control gaps, evaluate risks, and recommend process improvements
  • Prepare detailed audit workpapers, audit findings, and issue validation reports
  • Conduct testing of internal controls as per approved audit plans and regulatory guidelines
  • Assist in drafting annual audit plans based on risk assessments and regulatory expectations
  • Review NBFC/BFSI-specific processes including loan origination, underwriting, disbursement, collections, treasury, finance & accounts, ITGC, and compliance functions
  • Ensure adherence to RBI regulations, internal policies, and best practices in governance, risk, and compliance

Key Skills

  • Strong understanding of Internal Audit standards, risk management frameworks, and internal controls
  • BFSI/NBFC industry exposure preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of financial workflows, credit processes, and regulatory compliance
  • Experience with Big 4 audits (Financial Services vertical) preferred
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and report-writing skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); exposure to data analytics tools is an added advantage
