Internal Audit function of the Bank, operates independently under the supervision of the Audit Committee of the Board and is responsible for providing an independent view to the Board of Directors and Senior Management on the quality and efficacy of the internal controls, risk management systems, governance systems and processes in place on an on-going basis This is provided to primarily ensure that the business and support functions are in compliance with both internal and regulatory guidelinesAbout the RoleThe Branch Auditor is responsible for ensuring that the risk based Audit of the Branch is conducted and providing qualitative assessment of the Branches The Branch Auditor reports to the Head Regional audit Offices (RAO) The Branch Auditor finds the root cause of any issue and highlights the same with all the stakeholdersConduct risk based Internal Audit of branches / currency chests / Thematic ReviewsPrepare synopsis of Audit ObservationsPrepare MIS and Trackers for Audit Discrepancies NotedProvide Qualitative assessment of compliancesConduct Root cause analysis and giving recommendationsShare of major issues with stake holders ie, branch and their controllerQualificationsMBA/CA/ICWARole ProficienciesEffective Knowledge of Banking OperationsGood communication (both verbal and written) and inter-personal skillsStrong Excel and database manipulation skills, financial and statistical analysis skills)Ability to work effectively across functions and demonstrated ability to coach and mentor othersAbility to prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work under flexible hoursShould be able to travel for completing AssignmentsAbility to work as a part of team and contribute towards team goalsAbility to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
