Job Description

As an Associate/Senior Associate- Internal Audit, you will be responsible for supporting and managing internal audit assignments across multiple business units and geographies. Your role will involve executing internal audits, managing sections of larger audit assignments, documenting audit findings, preparing draft internal audit reports, tracking implementation of management action plans, and building strong relationships with business stakeholders. You will also assist in updating risk assessments, contribute to departmental initiatives, and engage in ad-hoc projects as assigned. Key Responsibilities: - Support the execution of internal audits across business units and locations. - Manage sections of larger audit assignments and lead audits independently when required. - Document audit findings with clear root cause analysis and propose actionable recommendations. - Prepare draft internal audit reports with value-added insights. - Track and test implementation of management action plans to close audit issues. - Build and maintain strong working relationships with business stakeholders. - Assist in updating risk assessments and the annual audit plan. - Contribute to departmental initiatives and ad-hoc projects as assigned. Qualifications Required: - Professional qualification: CA / ACCA / CPA / CIA (or equivalent). - 12 years of post-qualification experience in internal audit, risk management, or related areas (Big 4 / consulting / industry experience preferred). - Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Exposure to audit management tools is an advantage. In this role, you are expected to have a strong understanding of internal audit methodology, risk, and controls. An analytical mindset with good problem-solving and documentation skills is essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required for preparing clear audit reports. You should be able to manage your time effectively, multitask, and meet deadlines. Being a collaborative team player with the confidence to engage stakeholders will be beneficial for success in this position.,
