Production Intern

Purpose of the Role

The Production Intern will play a supportive role in ensuring the smooth flow of production within the designated sub-department(s). The position focuses on upholding product quality, maintaining time efficiency, and assisting in daily operational tasks, contributing to at least 95% operational efficiency

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Assist in the day-to-day operations of the assigned sub-department in alignment with production goals.
Maintain a minimum of 95% operational efficiency in assigned tasks and responsibilities.
Carefully handle jewelry items during all stages of the "In & Out" production protocol to prevent loss or errors.
Ensure no breakage or damage to jewelry products through proper handling and process adherence.
Follow and promote health and safety practices in the production area by implementing safety guidelines as instructed by supervisors.
Support the team in quality control, material tracking, and timely completion of production stages.
Actively participate in continuous improvement efforts and provide feedback for operational enhancement.

Qualifications and Skills

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Production, Manufacturing, Jewelry Design, or a related field.
Strong attention to detail and a high sense of responsibility in handling valuable products.
Basic understanding of manufacturing/production processes is a plus.
Ability to follow instructions and adapt to a fast-paced working environment.
Good communication skills and teamwork attitude.
Willingness to learn and take initiative.

Working Conditions

Based in a workshop/production environment.
May require standing or working for extended periods.
Must adhere to all safety and security protocols at all times.
