Roles and Responsibilities

• Support the team and projects through various phases of

  learning design and development

  .

• Collaborate with subject matter experts

  to identify the target audience's training needs.

• Research content

  on a variety of technical and non-technical topics.
• Compile, structure, and

  rewrite content

  according to learner needs.
• Create

  engaging learning activities

  and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer.
• Develop

  storyboards

  to visualize content, graphics, and the user interface.
• Guide the creation of supporting media such as

  audio, video, and animations

  .
• Develop

  assessments

  to judge learner performance.
• Maintain project documentation and course folders.

Skills and Expertise

• Strong ability to understand content on a variety of technical and non-technical topics, with good grasping ability.
• Ability to research information from various sources and compile, structure, and rewrite content as required.
• Ability to write effective copy,

  instructional text

  , and

  audio/video scripts

  .
• Basic knowledge of

  adult learning theories

  and

  instructional design models (SAM, ADDIE, etc.)

  .
• Working knowledge of the

  Microsoft Office suite

  .
• Excellent

  written and verbal communication skills

  .
• Imaginative and

  creative thinking skills

  and

  visualization skills

  .
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent

  organizational skills

  (preferred).
• Dedicated and motivated to learn and upskill (preferred).

• Experience with

  photo/video editing tools

Qualifications

• A

  bachelor's degree

  in any field, preferably

  teaching, education, English language, journalism, or mass communication

  .
• Completion of an

  online course

  (beginner level) in instructional design, education, or teaching.
• Relevant

  coursework/projects

  in instructional design, education, teaching, or training.
