Intern

We're looking for enthusiastic and talented Interior Design Interns to join our dynamic team and contribute to a variety of exciting residential and commercial projects. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience in a fast-paced design environment, working directly alongside our lead designers and project managers.

We are seeking individuals who are passionate about design, eager to learn, and possess a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Support: Assist lead designers with concept development, material selection, mood boards, and presentation preparation.
• Drafting & Documentation: Create or modify design drawings, floor plans, elevations, and renderings using relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, etc.).
• Sourcing & Procurement: Research and source furniture, fabrics, finishes, lighting, and accessories from vendors and showrooms; maintain the firm's materials library.
• Administrative Tasks: Organize and maintain project files, prepare meeting notes, manage sample requests, and assist with general office organization.
• Site Visits & Meetings: Attend client meetings, vendor appointments, and project site visits to assist with measurements, documentation, and coordination.
• Visual Communication: Assist in creating design presentations, finish schedules, and specification sheets.

Qualifications & Skills

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following drafting/rendering software: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max.
• Competency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) for presentations and visualization is a strong plus.
• Exceptional organizational skills, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A professional and positive attitude, with a proactive, "can-do" approach to learning and problem-solving.
• Reliable transportation is a benefit, as occasional travel to local vendor showrooms and job sites may be required.
