Job Description

As the Finance team, we're number crunchers with top-notch analytical and reporting skills. As a shared service, we get to work with all of Scopelys talented studios.

What you'll Be Doing:

Assist in preparing and posting
journal entries
(accruals, reclasses, adjustments).
Help ensure entries comply with
company policies and accounting standards
.
Support the accounting team in maintaining accurate and up-to-date ledger balances.
Perform
balance sheet account reconciliations
(prepaids, accruals, fixed assets, etc).
Support the team during monthly and quarterly close cycles.
Update reconciliation schedules and documentation files.
Assist in preparing
reports, schedules, and audit requests
.

What we're Looking For:

Pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in
Accounting, Finance, Commerce
, or a related discipline.
Basic understanding of
accounting principles
(Indian GAAP preferred).
Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (lookups, basic formulas).
Solid attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.

Bonus Points For:

Familiarity with accounting systems (Oracle) is a plus.
