As a Category Intern at Broadway, you will play a crucial role in the operations of a modern retail business. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting the Category Manager in daily operations, data analysis, and assortment planning. - Tracking and analyzing sales performance, inventory, and sell-through rates across different categories. - Supporting brand onboarding, product listings, and SKU management. - Coordinating with Visual Merchandising, Marketing, and Store Teams for successful product launches and activations. - Conducting competitive benchmarking and trend research to identify assortment and pricing opportunities. - Assisting in the preparation of reports, decks, and dashboards for internal reviews. - Supporting store walk-throughs, capturing product feedback, and gaining customer insights. To qualify for this role, you should be: - Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Retail Management, Fashion Management, or related fields. - Proficient in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and comfortable working with data. - Curious, analytical, and highly organized. - A team player with strong communication skills and a passion for retail. - Bonus if you are a shopper at heart who closely follows trends, brands, and pop culture.
