Overview
This is a high-impact, research-driven internship for a sharp, curious, and analytically strong individual who wants to work at the cutting edge of AI, digital innovation, and public health strategy.The intern will play a critical role in building a comprehensive, structured, and high-quality database of institutions and organizations across India that are developing, deploying, or enabling AI initiatives—with a strong relevance to health, governance, and public systems.Your work will directly support Vital Strategies’ AI and Digital Health strategy, partnerships, and future program design.
Key Responsibilities
- AI Ecosystem & Institutional Research Conduct desk research on AI-active institutions: IITs/IISc/universities/research labs; govt depts/PSUs; think tanks/multilaterals; corporates/startups/partners.
- Database Development & Intelligence Mapping Build/maintain database of: org details/focus; AI work type (research/deployment/policy/products/pilots); contacts/partnerships/geographies; public/digital health relevance. Ensure accuracy/usability for decisions.
- Team & Operational Support Handle meetings/documentation/coordination for AI/digital health. Provide operational and administrative support as and when needed.
- Assist with other tasks as assignned by the mentor.
Education And Experience

- This is a full-time, in-office internship in New Delhi. Remote or hybrid work is not available.
