Interior Site Supervisor – Roles and Responsibilities1. Site Coordination and SupervisionSupervise day-to-day interior work at the site to ensure timely progress and quality execution. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and labor teams for smooth workflow. Ensure that all work is executed as per approved drawings, designs, and specifications. Conduct regular site inspections and monitor the performance of workers and subcontractors. 2. Quality and Safety ManagementMaintain quality standards for all interior finishes (civil, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.). Ensure materials used on-site meet required quality and specification standards. Enforce safety protocols and ensure that workers follow safety guidelines at all times. Report any accidents or unsafe practices to management immediately. 3. Planning and Progress TrackingPrepare daily and weekly site progress reports and update the project manager regularly. Plan and schedule work sequences to meet project timelines. Identify delays or bottlenecks and propose corrective actions. Assist in material planning and ensure timely availability of materials at the site. 4. Coordination with Design and Management TeamsCommunicate regularly with the design team to clarify any discrepancies or technical queries. Ensure that design changes or revisions are implemented correctly at the site. Coordinate with clients (when required) for site visits, progress updates, and approvals. 5. Resource and Material ManagementVerify the quantity and quality of materials received at the site. Maintain proper records of material usage and inventory. Monitor labor attendance and productivity. Minimize wastage of materials and optimize resource utilization. 6. Documentation and ReportingMaintain updated site documentation such as daily logs, checklists, and inspection records. Record site measurements and assist in preparing work completion reports. Coordinate with the billing team for quantity verification and billing support. 7. Problem-Solving and Decision MakingIdentify and resolve on-site technical issues promptly. Liaise with vendors or consultants to find practical solutions for design or execution challenges.
