We are seeking a talented and experienced Site Engineer specialized in Commercial interior Project Execution to oversee and execute the interior design aspects of our new school construction project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experirience of interior works execution required:
- (Mill work and Carpentry )
- (Rubber), (Vinyl), Carpet, Wood flooring installations
- Grantite and Marble flooring
- Baffle Ceiling, Acoustic Ceiling, Metal Ceiling, Wood Veneer Ceiling
- Acoustics spray
- Gypsum and decorative ceiling
- DGU windows and DGU Internal Partitions fixing
- Modular doors fixing
- Glass and MS hand Railing
- HPL Toilet cubicles fixing
- Wall cladding
- POP Punning
- Vitrified flooring
- Dado cladding
- Experience of interior Finishing Works:
Planning, Scheduling, Material Quality estimation
Coordinating with Sub ContractorsMan Power mobilizationCoordinating with QA, QC, MEP, PMV, PMC, Architect, Purchase, safetyPreparing Sub Contractor BillsDocumentation of interior files
- Project Management:
- Oversee the interior execution of the new school building.
- Ensure that the project is completed within the stipulated time frame and budget.
- Coordinate with architects, Project Manager, MEP Contractors, Civil Contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Interior Execution:
- Implement and execute interior design plans provided by the architects, ensuring alignment with the vision and requirements of an international school environment.
- Select and procure appropriate materials, furnishings and finishes.
- Ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to design specifications.
- Quality Control:
- Monitor the quality of interior work and ensure compliance with design standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and address any design-related issues promptly.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure that all interior design activities comply with safety regulations and standards.
- Adhere to local building codes and regulations.
- Budget Management:
- Manage the budget for interior design aspects of the project.
- Track expenses and ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with the construction team, school management, and design consultants.
- Provide regular updates on project progress to stakeholders.
- Documentation:
- Maintain comprehensive records of design plans, modifications, and project progress.
- Prepare and submit reports as required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in interior design, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale interior design projects, preferably in educational
institutions.
- Strong knowledge of interior design principles, materials, and finishes.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple stakeholders.
