Interior Designer

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Design Intern or Fresher to join our design team in Ahmedabad. This is an office-based role where you will work closely with Senior Architects and Lead Designers to transform concepts into technical drawings and 3D visuals. You will gain hands-on experience in residential/commercial projects, material selection, and site execution. Key Responsibilities Drafting & Design: Create accurate 2D layouts, furniture plans, electrical/plumbing points, and detailed joinery drawings using AutoCAD. 3D Visualization: Develop basic 3D models and renders using SketchUp (knowledge of V-Ray/Lumion is a plus) to help clients visualize spaces. Site Coordination: Visit project sites across Ahmedabad (e.g., Bopal, Gota, Shela) to take measurements, supervise design execution, and ensure work matches the drawings. Material Selection: Assist the team in selecting laminates, fabrics, tiles, and light fixtures from local vendors and showrooms. Documentation: Prepare mood boards and presentations (PPT/Canva) for client meetings. Required Skills & QualificationsEducation: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or Civil Engineering. Software Proficiency: AutoCAD (Mandatory): Must be fast and accurate with commands. SketchUp: Good working knowledge for 3D modeling. MS Office: Basic Excel and PowerPoint skills. Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of materials (Plywood, MDF, Veneer) and standard furniture dimensions. Soft Skills: Eager to learn, punctual, and able to communicate in Gujarati/Hindi (for site interaction) and English (for professional documentation). Transport: Must have a 2-wheeler/vehicle for local travel to sites (fuel allowance is typically provided). What We OfferMentorship from experienced architects/designers.
