Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Software Development Engineer 2 (SDE-2) to contribute to the development and optimization of a Web Application Firewall (WAF) product. If you have a strong background in backend development, cybersecurity, and cloud security, this is an excellent opportunity to work on mission-critical security solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize backend services using Golang for WAF solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new security features.
  • Ensure scalability, performance, and security of web applications.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.
  • Stay updated with emerging cybersecurity threats and industry trends.
  • Contribute to the development of security best practices & standards.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in software development, preferably in Cybersecurity, WAF, Cloud Security, DDoS, API Protection, Bot Protection, or Website Protection.
  • Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and system design.
  • Experience with web application security principles.
  • Knowledge of network protocols (HTTP, TCP/IP) and security protocols (TLS, SSL).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
