Job Description

Technical Lead JD:
We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Lead with strong expertise in Java, Cloud platforms, and API integrations. The ideal candidate will lead a team of engineers, drive solution design and architecture, and ensure high-quality delivery of scalable, secure, and reliable applications.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Leadership & Delivery
Own end-to-end technical delivery including design, coding, code reviews, and deployment.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to align technology with business goals.
Lead and mentor a team of developers and engineers across projects.

Architecture & Design
Design scalable, resilient, and secure applications using Java-based frameworks (Spring Boot, Microservices).
Define and implement API strategies, including REST, GraphQL, and messaging-based integrations.
Drive cloud-native design leveraging AWS/Azure/GCP services.

Technical Expertise
Hands-on coding in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices.
Strong knowledge of API gateways, event-driven architectures, messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or MQs).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of security, compliance, and performance best practices.

Collaboration & Communication
Partner with QA, DevOps, and business teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
Communicate complex technical concepts in simple terms to non-technical stakeholders.


Requirements

  • 8–12 years of strong development experience with Java/J2EE and Spring Boot.
  • Proven experience in leading teams (5–10 members) as a Tech Lead or Senior Engineer.
  • Deep expertise in API design, development, and integration (REST, SOAP, GraphQL).
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major Cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience in containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD automation.
  • Familiarity with databases (SQL & NoSQL), caching, and distributed systems.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and architectural skills.
  • Excellent leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.
  • Exposure to Event-Driven and Streaming platforms (Kafka, AWS EventBridge, etc.).
  • Experience with API Management platforms (Apigee, Kong, MuleSoft, Axway, etc.).
  • Knowledge of cloud cost optimization and FinOps best practices.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
