Description
As a Account Integration Developer or Source System Integration developer for AWS, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data integration solutions that enable the efficient and secure transfer of data from diverse source systems to the AWS cloud. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, developers, and business stakeholders, to ensure data integrity, reliability, and scalability within the AWS environment. Heres how youll contribute: Collaborate with database administrators and cloud architects to assess Oracle databases and identify migration feasibility and requirements. Design and implement migration strategies and solutions to seamlessly transfer Oracle databases to AWS, adhering to best practices and security standards. Develop and execute migration plans, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss during the transition process. Strong on Elastic Search and Kibana Dashboard creation in AWS with alerts and notifications. Utilize AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), AWS Schema Conversion Tool (SCT), and other migration tools to facilitate the migration process. Perform data validation and testing to ensure the integrity and consistency of data post-migration. Troubleshoot and resolve migration-related issues promptly to minimize impact on business operations. Optimize database performance and configuration in the AWS environment to achieve optimal efficiency and scalability. Implement security and compliance measures to ensure data protection and adherence to regulatory requirements. Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless integration of applications with migrated databases in AWS. Provide documentation, training, and knowledge sharing to empower teams in managing migrated databases effectively. Stay updated with the latest AWS services, migration tools, and best practices to continuously improve migration processes. Strong knowledge of AWS services, especially those related to database migration and management (e.g., Amazon RDS, Amazon EC2, AWS DMS). Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming for data migration and validation purposes. Familiarity with cloud security and compliance best practices for sensitive data migration. AWS Database Migration Service and Confluent Kafka is must. Proficient in python and related development. File transfer format and protocols experience are must to have Skills required to contribute: Hands-on (Must have) 10+ years of working experience: AWS - Account onboarding and Integration Experience, IAM Role, ELK, Cloudwatch and Alerts Strong understanding on Database, Data Discovery, ETL, Change Data Capture (CDC), Confluent, Python Development & AWS DMS services are must. AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus. Strong people management and convincing skills Cost consideration and Optimization techniques would be an added advantage.
