Role & responsibilities • Design, build, execute, and maintain automated tests to ensure products meet defined functional requirements• Lead and manage a team of QA professionals to ensure project goals are met.• Collaborate with development and product teams to define quality standards andtesting requirements.• Conduct peer reviews of automated test scripts• Review automated test results to verify functional and technical requirements• Support manual QA testing efforts in conversion of manual test cases to automated• Work effectively and collaboratively within your team, participating in daily Scrum/agile and other meetingsJD QA Manager Page 1 • Communicate frequently and openly with supervisor(s) and team members• Monitor and report on QA metrics, such as defect densities and open defectcounts.• Perform other duties as assignedPreferred candidate profile Experience: 10+ years in software quality assurance, with at least 5 years leading QA teams in a software product company.• Test Automation Expertise: Strong experience in automated testing frameworks, scripting, and CI/CD pipelines.• Tools & Technologies: Proficiency in testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Cucumber.• Programming & Scripting: Strong hands-on experience with Python, Java, or JavaScript.• Cloud & DevOps Testing: Experience with cloud-based testing on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.• API & Performance Testing: Expertise in testing RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architectures, using tools like Postman, RestAssured, JMeter, or k6.• Agile & DevOps: Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Shift-Left testing, and DevOps quality integration.• AI Testing Tools (Plus): Experience with AI-powered testing tools such as Testim, Mabl, Applitools, Functionize, or similar is a plus.• Analytical & Leadership Skills: Ability to lead large teams, influence stakeholders, and drive quality at scale.Perks and benefits
