Sales & Support Representative – National Cover

Cover Club Pty Ltd is a newly established, fast-growing fintech and AFSL-authorised home insurance broker in Australia (incorporated in May 2025; AFSL effective May 15, 2025). We’re redefining how Australians buy home insurance—bringing simplicity, transparency, and technology to an outdated industry. Our mission is to deliver expert, client-first service by comparing options across the market so customers don’t have to.

About the Role

As a Sales & Support Representative, you’ll be the friendly face and voice of Cover Club. You’ll guide Australians through the often-confusing world of home insurance, making the process simple, stress-free, and even enjoyable. Think of yourself as both a problem solver and a cheerleader for our clients—you’ll help them find the best cover while making sure they feel supported every step of the way.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment where ideas are encouraged, growth is rapid, and no two days look the same.

Key Responsibilities

Sales

  • Educate clients on home insurance options in plain English—no jargon, no fluff.
  • Convert inbound leads into happy Cover Club clients.
  • Use our digital tools to compare policies and recommend the best-fit cover.
  • Hit conversion and retention targets while keeping client trust at the centre.

Support

  • Be the first point of contact via phone, email, or chat.
  • Handle queries, complaints, and claims support with empathy and efficiency.
  • Manage policy changes and renewals, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Proactively follow up with clients to strengthen relationships and uncover upsell opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous sales or customer support experience (insurance/finance a bonus, but not essential).
  • Strong communicator—you can explain tricky stuff simply and clearly.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable working with CRMs, quoting tools, and digital platforms.
  • Empathetic, client-focused, and solutions-oriented.
  • Thrive in a startup culture—adaptable, proactive, and excited by growth.
  • Bonus points for insurance qualifications or a willingness to work towards them.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹360,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Mohali, Punjab: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
