Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of insurance executives and coordinators.

  • Drive performance through goal setting, training, and performance reviews.

  • Foster a high-performance culture and team collaboration.

• Insurance Operations:

  • Manage and expand the insurance portfolio across life, health, and general categories.

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of insurance applications, policy issuance, and claims coordination.

  • Work closely with insurers, underwriters, and partners to optimize processes and offerings.

• Business Development & Strategy:

  • Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities with existing NBFC products (e.g., loans, credit services).

  • Develop sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue and growth targets.

  • Analyze market trends to recommend new insurance products or partnerships.

• Compliance & Documentation:

  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance norms laid down by IRDAI and other governing bodies.

  • Maintain complete and up-to-date records of all insurance-related transactions and audits.

• Customer Service:

  • Resolve escalated customer issues and claims-related queries effectively.

  • Enhance client experience by implementing best practices and feedback mechanisms.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in any stream (MBA/PGDM in Insurance or Finance preferred).

• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); working knowledge of insurance software/CRM tools is a plus.
