Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Insurance Manager to drive insurance sales by engaging clients, coordinating with insurance companies, sourcing competitive quotations, and providing clear, accurate information on insurance products and terminology. The role focuses on client needs assessment, policy explanation, and facilitating smooth policy issuance while adhering to regulatory guidelines. Key Responsibilities Insurance Sales & Business Development Generate and close insurance business across life, health, motor, and general insurance products. Identify clients, insurance needs and recommend suitable policy options. Achieve assigned sales and renewal targets. Client Engagement & Advisory Support Explain insurance policies, coverage, exclusions, premiums, and key insurance terminologies in a clear manner. Provide unbiased and accurate product information to help clients to make informed decisions. Address clients queries and assist throughout the policy lifecycle. Insurer Coordination & Quotations Liaise with multiple insurance companies to obtain best-available quotations as per client requirements. Compare policy features and pricing to present suitable options. Coordinate with insurers for policy issuance, endorsements, and renewals. Documentation & Policy Processing Assist clients with proposal forms, KYC documentation, and required disclosures. Ensure accurate and timely submission of documents. Coordinate with internal operations and insurers for smooth policy issuance. Compliance & Service Standards Ensure all sales and advisory activities comply with IRDAI regulations and company policies. Avoid mis-selling and ensure transparent communication at all times. Maintain proper client records and follow service-level standards. Key Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of insurance products and concepts. Client relationship and sales skills. Ability to explain complex insurance terminology in simple language. Negotiation and coordination skills with insurers. High ethical standards and compliance awareness. Educational Qualifications Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline (Finance/Insurance preferred). Experience 3–6 years of experience in insurance sales, broking, or advisory roles . Experience dealing with multiple insurance companies is an advantage. Compensation & Benefits Fixed salary + performance-based incentives.
