Insurance Claim Surveyor

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Insurance Claim Surveyor to assess and evaluate insurance claims by inspecting damaged property, vehicles, or other insured assets. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate, fair, and timely evaluation of losses, helping to minimize fraud and support customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical inspections of damage or loss related to insurance claims (e.g., motor vehicles, property, machinery, etc.).
• Assess the extent of damage and estimate repair or replacement costs.
• Verify the authenticity and accuracy of claims through thorough investigations and documentation.
• Prepare detailed survey reports with photographs, notes, and repair/replacement estimates.
• Coordinate with garages, repairers, service centers, and other stakeholders for technical inputs.
• Communicate with claimants, insurers, and third parties as needed to gather information.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Support claim settlements with factual and unbiased reporting.
• Identify potential fraudulent claims and escalate accordingly.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Automobile, or a related field.
• Valid IRDA License for Surveyors (as per regional regulatory body).
• 2–5 years of experience in insurance survey/assessment roles.
• Strong knowledge of insurance policies, procedures, and claims processes.
• Excellent analytical and observational skills.
• Proficiency in report writing and use of relevant software (e.g., surveyor tools, Excel).
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to travel frequently for field surveys.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
