Insurance and Annuity Operations (US)

As the Associate Director of Insurance and Annuity Operations at UBS Financial Services Inc., you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing various aspects of Commission Processing, Trade/New Business support, and regulatory requirements within the Insurance and Annuity operations domain. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing strategic plans for Insurance and Annuity operations to ensure alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives. - Leading and managing a team of professionals by providing guidance, support, and performance management to maintain high levels of productivity and engagement. - Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of retirement operations, including the adoption of new technologies and best practices. - Building and maintaining strong relationships with carrier partners and financial advisors to address their needs and concerns, ensuring a high level of satisfaction with retirement services. - Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and managing risks associated with operations by developing and implementing policies and procedures. - Working closely with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration with other business functions. Your expertise should include: - A Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred. - A minimum of 2 years of experience in Insurance and Annuity Operations. - Strong knowledge of DTCC files, Commission processing, and I/A Trading process. - Excellent leadership and team management skills. - Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
