Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join our Insurance Department. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in handling underwriting processes across motor, non-motor, and engineering insurance portfolios, along with strong communication and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

Handle insurance underwriting for motor, non-motor, and engineering insurance portfolios.
Ensure compliance with IIB burn rates, GIC guidelines, and insurance standards.
Review and understand claim assessment concepts.
Prepare, draft, and manage professional correspondence including letters, emails, and reports for insurance companies, brokers, government officials, and internal stakeholders.
Generate and maintain monthly MIS reports for management review.
Coordinate with insurance surveyors and support claim processes through site visits, data collection, and documentation.
Travel across remote and urban project sites across India for insurance-related activities.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of insurance underwriting and claim processes.
Familiarity with IIB burn rates, GIC guidelines, and claim assessment procedures.
Proficiency in
MS Excel, MS Word
, and report drafting.
Excellent communication skills in
Marathi, Hindi and English
(verbal and written).
Strong interpersonal skills to interact with insurance companies, surveyors, brokers, and government officials.
Ability to prepare accurate MIS reports.
Flexibility to travel extensively for business requirements.
Dedicated, adaptable, eager to learn, and professional in conduct.
