Job Description

The Instrumentation Engineer will be responsible for design and engineering activities in Oil & Gas projects, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule adherence. Offshore and LNG experience is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Experience in Oil & Gas projects; Offshore and LNG preferred.

Responsible for Quality, Budget, and Schedule of instrumentation activities.
Exposure to proposal execution, including man-hour estimation and EPC proposals.
Experience in FEED, Basic Engineering, and Brownfield projects.
Strong knowledge of international codes and standards.
Participation in SIL, HAZOP, and FAT activities.
Site exposure preferred.
Effective coordination with vendors, clients, and interdisciplinary teams.
Review of P&IDs.
Preparation and review of general specifications, design basis, and specifications for field instruments and valves.
Hands-on experience with sizing calculations for accurate design.
Preparation and review of RFQs and TBEs.
Review and approval of Vendor Documents (VDR).
Exposure to process and utility packages, including interface reviews.
Preparation and review of design deliverables (hook-ups, layouts, wiring, MTO, and construction contractor inputs).
Proficiency in all SPI (INTOOLS) modules.
Preparation and review of Functional Design Specifications (FDS) for control systems (preferred).
Exposure to control systems such as DCS, ESD, and F&G (preferred).
