Job Description

As an Instrumentation Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain instrumentation systems and control equipment for industrial processes. You will be tasked with performing calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of field instruments, control valves, and related systems. Analyzing process control problems and recommending technical solutions will be a key part of your role. Collaboration with electrical, mechanical, and automation teams to integrate instrumentation systems into the overall process is essential. Ensuring compliance with safety standards and industry regulations will also be a critical aspect of your job. You will be responsible for conducting inspections and audits of installed instrumentation to ensure reliability and performance. Additionally, you will assist in project management tasks such as cost estimation, scheduling, and resource planning. Providing technical support during the commissioning and startup phases of new equipment or systems will also fall under your purview. Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to instrumentation, control systems, and automation will be part of your daily activities. Preparation of technical documentation, including drawings, manuals, and reports, will also be required. To qualify for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as an Instrumentation Engineer or in a similar role is necessary. Proficiency in using instruments like transmitters, sensors, and controllers is a must. A strong knowledge of control systems, PLCs, SCADA, and DCS systems is essential. Familiarity with industry standards such as ISA, IEC, and ISO is required. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment are crucial for success in this position. You should also be able to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. This is a full-time position with benefits such as Provident Fund and a performance bonus. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, and the job requires in-person work. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of total work experience in a relevant field.,
