Qualification:

B.E. / B.Sc. / Diploma in Electronics / Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering

Experience:

510 Years in Projects & Maintenance within Chemical / Hydrocarbon / Polymer industries

Role Overview:

The incumbent will be responsible for project execution (greenfield & brownfield) and maintenance activities for a commercial-scale project as well as ongoing pilot plant operations. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in instrumentation, electrical systems, automation, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Execution (Greenfield & Brownfield)

Work with contractors on basic & detailed engineering including datasheets, P&IDs, loop logic, and ladder logic.

Execute field jobs such as wiring, cabling, and panel cable terminations.

Assist in procurement follow-up of hardware and capital equipment.

Design and modify wiring diagrams for new and existing panels and systems.

Automation & Control

Program and commission PLCs and SCADA systems.

Troubleshoot and debug control hardware and circuits.

Maintenance & Operations

Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance independently.

Ensure calibration of instruments at defined intervals.

Maintain spare parts inventory and stock records.

Documentation & Reporting

Prepare and maintain technical documentation, drawings, and maintenance records.

Use MS Office for reports, logs, and documentation.

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, instrumentation & electrical systems.

Experience in panel wiring, cabling, and terminations.

Ability to read and develop P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and loop logic.

Good troubleshooting and hands-on maintenance skills.

Experience working in chemical / process plant environments.
