We are looking for an experienced Instrumentation Design Engineer with strong expertise in engineering design for EPC and water industry projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare deliverables and document lists for instrumentation.
• Develop specifications for PLC, field instruments, and related systems.
• Select and specify DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems.
• Select water analyzers (pH, Conductivity, Turbidity, ORP, Silica, Sodium, etc.) and transmitters (Flow, Level, Pressure, etc.).
• Select local gauges (PG, Orifice, Rotameter, LG) and other instrumentation items (SM Box, LCP, JB, cables, cable trays, etc.).
• Perform sizing and selection of control valves and solenoid valves.
• Prepare Instrument Index, Hook-up drawings, Loop drawings, and Cable schedules.
• Create and review data sheets for field instruments, PLC, and DCS.
• Design automation schemes with Foundation Fieldbus, Profibus, and HART-based instruments.
• Knowledge of public address systems and fire alarms.
• Evaluate vendor technical offers and prepare technical comparison documents.
• Review vendor drawings, coordinate with vendors/clients, and resolve site/customer complaints.
• Coordinate with other departments for smooth instrumentation interfaces.
• Standardize instrumentation items for projects.
• Support QC for integration systems like PLC and analyzer panels.
• Provide technical support for erection, testing, and commissioning at site.
• Ensure timely release of detailed engineering documents with minimal revisions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Instrumentation, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
• Strong knowledge of process control systems and instrumentation design standards.
