Instrument Technician

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled ITI Instrumentation Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial instrumentation and control systems. The candidate will ensure accurate measurement and control of process variables such as pressure, temperature, flow, and level to support smooth plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, calibration, and maintenance of field instruments (Pressure, Temperature, Flow & Level transmitters).
• Loop checking, testing, and troubleshooting of instrumentation systems.
• Maintenance of control panels, PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems.
• Reading and understanding P&ID, wiring diagrams, and loop diagrams.
• Diagnosis and rectification of faults in sensors and transmitters.
• Periodic preventive maintenance and breakdown handling.
• Documentation of maintenance activities and calibration reports.
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards and SOPs.
• Coordination with production and electrical teams during shutdowns and breakdowns.

Technical Skills Required

• Knowledge of:
• Pressure, Temperature, Flow, Level Instruments
• Control valves & actuators
• PLC & basic automation systems
• Field wiring & panel termination
• Understanding of:
• P&ID diagrams
• Instrument loops
• Calibration procedures
• Basic computer knowledge for reporting.

Eligibility Criteria

• ITI in Instrumentation (Mandatory)
• Freshers or experienced candidates can apply
• Willingness to work in shifts
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
