Job Overview

Quality Analyst – Instructional Design Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Review course content, outlines, assessments, and learning assets for accuracy, clarity, and alignment with defined learning objectives.
• Ensure consistency in style, tone, structure, formatting, and instructional flow across all learning materials, including but not limited to:
• Learning Objectives (LOs)
• Vignette / talking-head videos
• Readings with external links
• Screencast and demo videos
• Labs and Hands-On Learning (HOL) activities
• Coach dialogues and interactivities
• Knowledge Checks (KCs)
• Graded assessments and capstone projects
• Identify, document, and report content gaps, instructional design inconsistencies, and technical issues such as broken links or media errors.
• Validate compliance with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and organizational branding guidelines.
• Ensure grammatical accuracy and adherence to editorial and instructional guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with instructional designers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and internal teams to resolve identified issues.
• Maintain QA checklists, feedback reports, and version control for course materials.
• Understand system and workflow processes to validate that learning products meet user and client requirements.
• Actively engage with client partners to address queries, improve processes, and enhance workflow efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail with a solid understanding of instructional design principles.
• Prior experience reviewing eLearning content, digital courses, or curriculum materials.
• Familiarity with LMS platforms and accessibility standards such as WCAG.
• Excellent written communication and proofreading skills.
• Ability to multitask, manage tight timelines, and deliver quick turnarounds.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder communication skills.
