Inspection Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated Inspection Engineer with experience in electronic and electrical appliances to ensure that products meet the required quality and compliance standards. The role involves inspection, testing, documentation, and coordination with clients and manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct visual, functional, and performance inspections of electronic appliances (e.g., fans, mixers, refrigerators, washing machines, etc.).
• Verify compliance with BIS/ISI and government-approved standards.
• Perform testing as per relevant specifications and document inspection findings.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and present results to the Inspection Head.
• Coordinate with manufacturers, clients, and internal teams regarding inspection schedules and findings.
• Ensure calibration and maintenance of inspection tools and testing instruments.
• Train and guide inspection engineer trainees on standard procedures and quality protocols.
• Maintain proper records and support in audit or certification processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience in inspection or quality testing of electronic/electrical appliances.
• Sound knowledge of quality standards, safety norms, and testing procedures.
• Good understanding of BIS / ISO / ISI certification processes.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Report Preparation).
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in working with laboratory or third-party inspection agencies.
• Hands-on experience with testing instruments and measuring devices.
