Inspection Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for conducting advanced NDT inspections and thickness measurements for industrial assets and systems as an Inspection Engineer. This field-based role will require you to travel regularly to client sites, create inspection plans, operate a variety of NDT equipment (including LRUT), analyze results, and prepare detailed reports. Key Responsibilities: - Travel to client locations for inspection and testing tasks. - Set up, calibrate, and operate NDT equipment such as LRUT, UT, UFD, MPI, and DPT. - Perform inspections following established procedures and client specifications. - Interpret test results to evaluate material integrity. - Generate detailed inspection reports containing findings and recommendations. - Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of all NDT equipment. - Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver accurate inspection outcomes. - Read and understand P&IDs, plant layouts, and equipment drawings. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field. - At least 1 year of hands-on experience as an NDT Technician or Inspection Engineer. - Valid certifications in NDT methods like UT, MPI, DPT, etc. - Basic knowledge of LRUT (Long Range Ultrasonic Testing). - Strong understanding of various NDT techniques and standards. - Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and schematics. - Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and report-writing abilities. - Good communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and teams. - Ready to travel and work in industrial environments.
