Inspection Engineer

You are a passionate and experienced Inspection Engineer responsible for conducting advanced NDT inspections and thickness measurements on industrial assets and systems. Your main tasks include creating inspection plans, utilizing various NDT equipment (such as LRUT), analyzing inspection results, and preparing detailed reports. This role requires frequent travel to client sites for on-site inspections. Your responsibilities will involve traveling to client locations for inspection and testing assignments, setting up and operating NDT equipment (including LRUT, UT, UFD, MPI, DPT), performing inspections based on established procedures and client requirements, interpreting test results to evaluate material integrity, generating comprehensive inspection reports with findings and recommendations, ensuring proper functioning of NDT equipment, collaborating with clients and internal teams to deliver accurate inspection outcomes, and interpreting P&IDs, plant layouts, and equipment drawings. To qualify for this role, you must hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field, possess at least 1 year of practical experience as an NDT Technician or Inspection Engineer, maintain valid certifications in NDT methods (UT, MPI, DPT, etc.), have a fundamental understanding of LRUT (Long Range Ultrasonic Testing), demonstrate proficiency in various NDT techniques and standards, be adept at interpreting engineering drawings and schematics, exhibit excellent attention to detail and analytical skills, showcase strong report-writing and communication capabilities, and be willing to travel and operate in industrial environments.
