Role Overview:

Primary Fund Raising for Education Institutions from curated list of Alumni

A Company is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager/Manager - Academic Relations. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and nurturing strong relationships with school principals, chairpersons, and other key stakeholders in the education sector. Your primary focus will be on presenting the value proposition of , including our workshops, National Astronomy Challenge, and upcoming products such as space labs.

This is a strategic role that requires a thorough understanding of the education landscape, market intelligence, and competitive dynamics. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to engage and influence decision-makers within educational institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development:

    Identify and engage with key decision-makers (principals, chairpersons, etc.) within schools to present and promote the offerings , including workshops, National Astronomy Challenge, space labs, and other future tech based products.
  • Relationship Management:

    Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with educational institutions, ensuring consistent engagement and collaboration.
  • Market Intelligence:

    Stay abreast of market trends, competitive movements, and industry developments to inform and refine business development strategies.
  • Proposal Development:

    Create compelling proposals and presentations tailored to the needs of individual schools, demonstrating the value and impact of company offerings.
  • Event Participation:

    Represent A Company at relevant industry events, conferences, and school engagements to increase brand visibility and foster new partnerships.
  • Target Achievement:

    Work towards and achieve the business development targets set by the management, contributing to the overall growth of the organization.
  • Collaboration:

    Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure the successful execution of initiatives and campaigns.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:

    1-4 years of experience in sales, business development, or academic relations, preferably within the education sector.
  • Knowledge:

    Deep understanding of the education ecosystem, including who the decision-makers and influencers are within schools.
  • Skills:

    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
    • Strong negotiation and relationship management abilities.
    • Proficiency in market analysis and intelligence gathering.
  • Competencies:

    • Strategic thinking with a focus on achieving results.
    • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
    • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering , or a related field. A Masters degree would be a plus.
