Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales-Development Representative to join our Sales Development Team. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for gathering information about the school, qualifying leads, and coordinating with the marketing and sales team during the pre-sales process.


Your role will be crucial in ensuring effective communication and smooth coordination between various teams to drive successful pre-sales activities.


Responsibilities:


1. Calling the school to gather information.

• Initiate phone calls to the school stakeholder to collect information about their needs.

• Maintain accurate records of gathered information and update it in the tracker.

• Apprise internal stakeholders (such as sales team, tech team, implementation team etc) of the gathered information, ensuring they are informed and can make well-informed decisions.

2. Qualifying Leads

• Evaluate the school leads to determine their potential as viable prospects for new sale / upgrades.

• Conduct preliminary assessments to identify the schools' needs and match them with our products or services.

• Communicate lead qualification status and relevant information to internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment and effective decision-making.

• Schedule product demos for the qualified leads

• Communicate regularly with the sales team to provide updates on lead status and support required for successful conversions.


Requirements:


1. Previous experience in Inside Sales, coordination, customer relations, client services, or a similar role within the ed-tech industry and B2B role is preferred.


2. *Proven sales track record*, with a consistent history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.


3. *Excellent communication and interpersonal skills*, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and prospects.


4. *Strong product knowledge* and ability to learn new products and services quickly.


5. *Proficiency in CRM software


6. *High school diploma or equivalent required*;
