Injection Molding Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Injection Moulding Engineer with 10–15 years of hands-on industry expertise to join our team. This role requires deep knowledge of injection moulding processes, materials, tooling, and machine troubleshooting. You will be a key technical leader, ensuring that our manufacturing operations run smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimise the injection moulding production process to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
• Set up moulds in injection moulding machines and ensure correct alignment, installation, and machine settings.
• Optimise machine parameters to achieve maximum output, quality, and efficiency.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with injection moulding machines to minimise downtime.
• Provide expert guidance on material selection and processing for plastics such as ABS, SAN, PP, PET, and other engineering-grade materials.
• Work closely with tooling teams to ensure moulds are properly maintained, set up, and performing optimally.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve technical challenges and improve processes.
• Implement best practices for machine settings, maintenance schedules, and safety procedures.
• Train and mentor junior engineers and operators.
• Maintain accurate production and maintenance records using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 10–15 years in injection moulding engineering, with proven hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent qualification).
• Strong technical knowledge of injection moulding machines, tooling, and auxiliary equipment.
• Skilled in mould setting and process optimisation.
• Deep understanding of thermoplastics, including ABS, SAN, PP, PET, and their processing characteristics.
• Proficient in diagnosing process and equipment issues and implementing effective solutions.
• Knowledge of tooling maintenance and repair practices.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
