About the Role We are rolling out a state-of-the-art Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to drive our digital transformation and elevate production performance. We are seeking a seasoned MES professional with proven experience in full-cycle MES deployment and injection moulding operations within a manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will take ownership of the MES implementation — from initial configuration and onboarding to continuous improvement and long-term system support. You will work across production, engineering, IT, and vendor teams to ensure the MES is fully aligned with operational goals and delivers measurable ROI. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end implementation of the MES system. Translate manufacturing requirements into MES configurations that optimize workflows, especially for injection moulding processes . Manage system data migration, validation, and go-live readiness. Develop and execute comprehensive MES training programs for operators, engineers, and managers. Oversee user administration, permissions, and system security protocols. Serve as the primary point of contact for MES-related issues, coordinating with vendors for escalations, upgrades, and patches. Monitor MES performance, generate operational reports, and propose improvements. Lead initiatives for continuous process optimization using MES data insights. Ensure compliance with manufacturing quality standards and operational KPIs. Qualifications & Requirements Mandatory: Demonstrated experience in deploying and maintaining MES in a manufacturing environment. Desired (but not essential): Practical knowledge of injection moulding machines and related manufacturing workflows. Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering , Mechanical Engineering , Electrical Engineering , or Computer Science (Master’s degree preferred). Strong understanding of ERP integration, production data capture, and manufacturing KPIs. Proficiency in database concepts (SQL) and familiarity with industrial networking. Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. About the Role We are looking for an experienced Injection Moulding Engineer with 10–15 years of hands-on industry expertise to join our team. This role requires deep knowledge of injection moulding processes, materials, tooling, and machine troubleshooting. You will be a key technical leader, ensuring that our manufacturing operations run smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Oversee and optimise the injection moulding production process to ensure consistent quality and efficiency. Set up moulds in injection moulding machines and ensure correct alignment, installation, and machine settings. Optimise machine parameters to achieve maximum output, quality, and efficiency. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with injection moulding machines to minimise downtime. Provide expert guidance on material selection and processing for plastics such as ABS, SAN, PP, PET , and other engineering-grade materials. Work closely with tooling teams to ensure moulds are properly maintained, set up, and performing optimally. Collaborate with production teams to resolve technical challenges and improve processes. Implement best practices for machine settings, maintenance schedules, and safety procedures. Train and mentor junior engineers and operators. Maintain accurate production and maintenance records using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook). Qualifications & Requirements Experience: 10–15 years in injection moulding engineering, with proven hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent qualification). Strong technical knowledge of injection moulding machines, tooling, and auxiliary equipment. Skilled in mould setting and process optimisation . Deep understanding of thermoplastics, including ABS, SAN, PP, PET, and their processing characteristics. Proficient in diagnosing process and equipment issues and implementing effective solutions. Knowledge of tooling maintenance and repair practices. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
