We are seeking an experienced

Infrastructure Specialist – System Administration

to join our Distribution sector team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in

Unix/Linux Administration

and

Production Support

, with the ability to work in rotational US shifts, including night shifts. This role involves application support, infrastructure monitoring, and ensuring smooth IT operations while adhering to incident management processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Unix/Linux administration support including system monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Perform production support activities ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Execute shell scripting for automation and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor infrastructure performance using tools such as Dynatrace.
  • Handle incidents, service requests, and escalations through tools like ServiceNow or Jira.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and provide excellent customer service.
  • Work in rotational shifts including night shifts as per US support requirements.

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong experience in Unix/Linux Administration.
  • Solid background in Production Support.
  • Hands-on with shell scripting.
  • Familiarity with incident management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
  • Willingness to work in rotational US shifts (including night shifts).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Knowledge of ITIL processes.
  • Familiarity with BBX systems.
  • Exposure to Dynatrace monitoring tool.
