Job Description

Infrastructure Administrator

Key Responsibilities

Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
Identify and resolve performance, security, and stability issues across both network and server infrastructure.
Deployment Support:
Configure and support new deployments, ensuring optimal setup for networking and server components.
Storage Management:
Manage and optimize storage resources for both on-premise and remote systems.
Vendor Coordination:
Collaborate with external vendors for connectivity setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Networking & Server Administration:
Perform hands-on network and server management tasks to maintain system continuity.
Connectivity Implementation:
Lead third-party connectivity setup in managed datacenters, considering both network and server needs.
System Optimization:
Recommend and implement improvements to enhance performance, efficiency, and resilience of infrastructure.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Certifications:
One or more of the following Cisco
CCNA
,
Microsoft Server Certification
, or
ITIL Foundation
.
Experience:
7+ years in
network and server infrastructure administration
, preferably in the
financial/securities domain
.
Networking Expertise:
Strong knowledge of
LAN/WAN
,
MPLS
,
VPNs
,
firewalls
, and
network security tools (IDS, IPS)
.
Server Systems:
Hands-on experience with
Microsoft Server RDS 2012 / 2019
and
Hyper-V networking (2012 R2 / 2019)
.
FIX Protocol Connectivity:
Experience with
FIX protocol
for trading systems (preferred).
Cloud & Linux Exposure:
Familiarity with
AWS
and
Linux environments
is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Strong English communication skills, with ability to collaborate across global teams (US/UK).
Demonstrated self-reliance and a jack-of-all-trades” mindset in technical infrastructure.
